Ball Valve Lockout Devices

Pro-Lock® provides a secure method for isolating Ball valves

The Pro-Lock® valve lockout secures the handles of Ball valves to prevent them from being operated. Pro-Lock® valve lockout devices are durable and will not rust or corrode as they are moulded from polypropylene and contain only stainless steel internal parts. Ideally, a Ball valve handle will be supplied drilled however if there is not, a Pro-Lock® device only requires a 4mm hole to be drilled at a suitable point in order to be attached.

Ball Valve lockout devices are effective lockout systems in the workplace

Ball valve lockouts can help prevent potentially harmful accidents during maintenance or repairs of machinery. This type of valve lockout device allows operators to close off or isolate energy sources such as hydraulic pressure or electricity.

Pro-Lock® valve lockout devices are available in Red, Green, Blue and Yellow for easy identification. This may be for the employees using the devices, the contents of the pipework being isolated, or whether the valve is locked/open/closed/part of wider isolation.
