Butterfly Valve Lockout Devices

Pro-Lock® provides a secure method for isolating Butterfly valves.

The Pro-Lock® valve lockout secures the handles of Butterfly valves to prevent them from being operated. Pro-Lock® valve lockout devices are durable and will not rust or corrode as they are moulded from polypropylene and contain only stainless steel internal parts. Ideally, a Butterfly valve handle will be supplied drilled however if not, a Pro-Lock® device only requires a 4mm hole to be drilled at a suitable point in order to be attached.

Pro-Lock® valve lockout devices are available in Red, Green, Blue and Yellow for easy identification. This may be for the employees using the devices, the contents of the pipework being isolated, or whether the valve is locked/open/closed/part of a wider isolation.

UV Stabilised with resistance to oils and greases, plus excellent impact resistance, the applications for this material include automotive articles such as car bumpers, battery cases etc. Independent operational and drop tests carried out between -55°C
and +55°C. No significant deterioration in strength or problems with operation noted.

Internals: M8 x 30mm 304/S15 Stainless Steel bolt, M8 nut, fabricated from 303 Stainless Steel.
